Be Still and Know

Lord Jesus, here I am.

I have been injured physically, my foot restricts me – but not from you; it limits my movement, but not from getting close to you.

Lord, I want to see you clearly, to understand the gulf which rests between us; and realize how powerful you are – and how weak I am. Help me to realize my limitations outside of my current condition.

Your word says, “sit still.” Although my body complies, my mind still races; complaining about what I can’t do, when a great opportunity sits before me!

To settle in and praise You and allow your habitation. To be filled by your presence with no hollow or void. To learn what comes after this season and prepare for the work ahead!
